A few pictures of Dormelles

Overlooking the green valley of Orvanne, the 11 hamlets that make up the town of Dormelles offer enchanting landscapes, whose beauty and tranquility contrast singularly with the warlike legends that haunt the place.
Witness the story of the bloody battle of succession between the little sons of Clotaire that would have ended here in 599, the remains of the singular small fort of Challeau and the great deeds of resistance of the "Maquis du Pimard" during the Second World War.
Two hiking trails entitled "Basse vallée de l'Orvanne" and "Maquis de Roys" will allow you to discover all the facets of this village, which is one of the most beautiful in all the Gâtinais bocage.
Throughout these courses, farms that offer tastings of local products will give you the opportunity to make a gourmet stop to discover local delicacies.
