LA MARÉE JEANNE
Restaurant, bar, and terrace on the banks of the Seine.
From the large bay window of Le Barbotte, a music bar with a seaside atmosphere, you can peacefully contemplate the river ballet of the Seine, your feet almost in the water. La Marée Jeanne combines three atmospheres: a fisherman's hut, a lively bar with foosball, and an elegant restaurant upstairs, with a wall of bottles and intimate tables or a table d'hôte. On the menu: vacation flavors—fried smelt, oysters by the 3, 6, or 12, cod croquettes with cocktail sauce—but also classics such as Grenoble-style skate wing and salmon koulibiac. For dessert: rum baba (Maison Astier recipe), rice pudding with pink praline, or Papuan chocolate mousse ganache.
Located on the Quai de Seine, in Saint-Mammès, the restaurant la Marée Jeanne specializes in seafood.
